i am learning so much from this. not only you get to see this beautiful plants but the work and the science behind it. its a masterpiece, its an honor to see this. i wish i can actually come there and see it in person, but thanks to this channel ms summer
Wow. That 1000+ bloom, 1 plant. Just Wow. Kudos!! Don’t know how that will look on an environmental biologist’s CV😂 Will be a lifelong talking point. But, seriously, that amount of meticulous work and commitment shows more about her as a person than any pen and paper exam. Deserves automatic tenure prior to even graduating!
As a metal sculptor obsessed with plants, the fabrication/horticulture collaboration mentioned around the 10 minute mark made me so happy 😍 I've never thought of incorporating plants into my sculptures but I might start trying it out!
Incredible artistry and beauty! Precise cultural techniques, also. I have a new respect for Chrysanthemums. Would love to see the display at Longwood someday!
The techniques are impressive and I love that it is just passed down the line - no manual. Talk about the top quality on the job training. Just stunning ❤
WOW! The human’s creative imagination never ceases to amaze. A creative, whimsical display with Mums! …. Truly beautiful Longwood! Thanks for sharing this display with us Ms. Summer.😊
We were there last week, and it was stunning! I still can't believe that big yellow display is only 1 plant! The gardeners at Longwood are amazing! I've loved it there since I was a kid and actually started my orchid collection because of Longwood. 💚💖
I am amazed by these beautiful arrangements. Can't imagine the work which would have gone to put this all together. Congratulations to the team who have given pleasure to so many people with their lovely Mums. Sanjay Sibal
What an incredible mastery of plant design and manipulation. Thanks for sharing this, & appreciate all of the dedication & hard work from everyone at Longwood.❤
This just blows my mind. The half sphere display...one plant! It is all so spectacular and the artistry involved. Gorgeous displays and such a variety that you never heard or saw of mums. I was there once, many years ago during the summer. Someone told me about Longwood Gardens and at the spur of the moment, I decided to check it out. I was beyond impressed.
I grew up 5 minutes from Longwood and as a young child we were there on at least a weekly basis. Every time i go back to the East Coast i make a trip there because I adore it. The silver room was always my favorite.
Jason and Nathalie, congrats to you and the Longwood team. (Just imagine what they can imagine, when they look at any setting, natural or architecturally.)This is like a 4th of July celebration for the plant world. 🎉Thanks team Flock, for taking us along.
Been to this place 2 years ago...wish I lived nearby, would totally volunteer or work to learn about these plants all year round. This is one of the best Botanical Garden I've been to here in US.
A Chinese friend at college, used to make us Chrysanthemum tea. This awakes fond memories, of pleasant conversations. That was either a 'high' or just a good time, of life. We should try to find out the name of it and grow our own. Thanks for taking us along. It was only a small jump over here, from Flock Finger Lakes. 🦆🦆🦆🦆
Pretty incredible artistic mum growing! Love it! Thanks for sharing, enjoyed it a lot! So many beautiful blooms! Lots of growing tips too! Thanks again and happy growing ❤❤❤
I was there 3rd wk of October. How great it would’ve been to see Summer and Sondar! Jason and Emily are amazing! I would’ve loved some tips on bonsai with chrysanthemums…I wonder if it possible without a greenhouse.
This is the 2nd video this week from a channel I watch every video from, that wasn't recommended on the day of release. Normally I see a video from this or the Flock channel very quick after release. Better late than never I guess, I'm here now :)
Kew gardens did a ‘year in Kew’. Would love a documentary on a year in Longwood. Showing people tie on frames, and actually the instal AND how the heck all this is removed!!
Thank you so much for this informative interview and as always your interview is very scientifically formulated and articulated. I really love your videos. I wonder where I could buy the chrysanthemum seeds pls? Best regards, Helen Chen
Thank you for disseminating informative content. Your content is a shinning light on RUclips🎉

Longwood is always so impressive with their displays. I hope we get to see the Christmas one
The Christmas exhibit is nothing short of spectacular. I took my grandmother to see the Christmas show many years ago. She loved it.
The techniques are impressive and I love that it is just passed down the line - no manual.

I fell in love with chrysanthemum this year so it is really cool to see these displays done by these passionate artisans. Thanks for documenting it!
1 PLANT? The ending was incredible. To see that it took 18 months is amazing.

My favorite was always walking through the woods when many of the azaleas were in bloom. The kids always loved the tree houses.

Jason Simpson is a very impressive fellow! What a knowledgeable person and great display 😀
When do they even find time to install and care for the displays? With so many visitors it's got to either be early morning or late in the day.
Thank you for another wonderful field trip. This is amazing ❤😮
Mind boggling! What a beautiful display of horticultural skill.
It would be an absolute dream come true to visit Longwood someday! What beautiful displays!
